Torrance Refinery Action Alliance invites the community to take part in a Rally & March to Ban MHF on Saturday, February 18 from 10 to 11:30 a.m. at Columbia Park.
MHF stands for Modified Hydrofluoric Acid which is used at the PBF Energy Torrance Refining Company located in the heart of the South Bay. February 18 will be the two year anniversary of the ESP explosion at the refinery where a 80,000 pound piece of fallen equipment came within feet of a tank containing 50,000 pounds of Modified Hydrofluoric Acid.
