• Direct, cheap ride to the gates. Torrance Transit runs game-day service straight to SoFi for $4 round trip.
• Hotel rates without the stadium markup. Areas immediately around Inglewood and Hollywood Park see steep price spikes on game weekends. Torrance’s 15 hotels sit a perfect distance away to avoid that surge.
• Shorter, simpler drive than the rest of LA. Downtown LA, Santa Monica, West Hollywood and a lot of other popular areas are all much further from SoFi and funnel through the same 405, 10 and 110 corridors that see the worst game-day backups. Torrance skips most of that.

Getting to SoFi from Torrance

Once you’ve picked Torrance as your base, here’s how to get to the stadium:

Torrance Transit: The easiest and cheapest way to get to SoFi. Costs $2 each way and $4 round trip on Line 10x, direct to SoFi, with free parking at the Torrance Transit Center. Get SoFi shuttle details here.

Rideshare: Straightforward, but more costly. Budget extra time for the walk from drop-off, especially on high-attendance games. SoFi’s rideshare drop-off zone is about a quarter mile from the stadium entrance.

Driving: The most challenging but flexible way to get to SoFi. Most game day parking on the day will be sold out, so you’ll have needed to purchase SoFi parking ahead. Official lots run $80–$100 for Rams and Chargers games; off-site lots booked through ParkWhiz or SpotHero start around $29. If driving, buy your pass when you buy your tickets, as the closest zones sell out first.

Know Before You Go: SoFi’s Gate Rules

SoFi enforces a clear bag policy for every event, NFL games included.

Bags must be clear plastic, vinyl, or PVC and no larger than 12″ x 6″ x 12″ or a one-gallon clear freezer bag. Small clutches (up to 4.5″ x 6.5″, no strap) are also fine. Backpacks, purses, diaper bags and camera bags won’t get through security, so plan to leave them at your hotel.

Gates open 2–3 hours before kickoff. Plan to arrive at least 60 minutes early to clear security comfortably.

• Absolution Brewing Company – Absolution Brewing Co. says they’re saving the world from bad beer, one pint at a time. And once you try a brew at their Torrance taproom, you’ll believe them. They take a simple approach to their brewing method, and the use of a few basic ingredients — just grains, yeast, water and hops — allows them to prioritize quality at every step. In addition to a selection of incredible beers, Absolution also often hosts events, from live music to emo-themed dance parties.

• Buzzrock Brewing Company – Buzzrock’s distinctly rebellious vibe can be traced back to the 1970s, when the owners brewed their first batch of beer as a middle school science experiment. Today, Buzzrock offers a casual, inviting vibe where you can kick back and enjoy a wide selection of expertly brewed craft beers. Buzzrock’s taproom is also part of The Brews Hall, which features a variety of restaurants serving up the perfect bites to pair with your beverage.
• Hermosa Brewing Company – Good beer, great food — what more could you need? Choose from beers such as “Hazy A.F.” and “Left My Wallet,” or opt for one of their housemade hard seltzers. They also have an extensive, rotating food menu, with new specials every day.
• HopSaint Brewing Company – This fun, offbeat brewery invites guests to “Join the Sainthood” and spend an unforgettable afternoon immersed in a world of flavor with over 20 fresh taps ready to be explored. In addition to an incredible selection of beers, HopSaint offers an extensive food menu, with many of their dishes smoked or grilled right there in-house.

• Monkish Brewing Company Torrance – Forget about a vow of silence — the guys at Monkish have taken a vow of superior brews. They describe their specialty as “belgian-ish” and “IPA-ish” beers, promising a unique experience you won’t get from any other pint.
• Project Barley Square Brewery & Pub – Beers so good they’ll make you want to sing! Which, when you consider that Project Barley was started by one of LA’s most popular local bands, Barley, makes perfect sense. Be sure to try one of their signature brews served in a cask while you’re here, and keep an eye on their event calendar to see live music, fun activities and more.
• Red Car Brewery & Restaurant – Sip suds in the very first microbrewery that kicked off the craft brew craze in Torrance. This spot pays homage to an important piece of Southern California history: the Red Car Line, a heritage streetcar line that transported visitors along the coast.

• Scholb Premium Ales – Bring the whole family to Scholb for lunch or dinner, as this brewery focuses on creating an environment that’s kid, dog and beer-lover friendly.
