On Saturday, April 15th, the Western Museum of Flight is hosting a Celebrity Lecture Series – A Force Enabled – The Logistics of Space Defense
To be effective, operating forces require a wide spectrum of material, transportation, and personnel maintenance support. Without these, no forces can operate for long in the field. The ultimate task is combating threats in the space domain and the support for this activity is the job of Colonel Mia L. Walsh, Space Base. Delta 3 (SBD 3), Los Angeles Air Force Base. Colonel Walsh has generously offered to give a briefing on the functioning of America’s space defense force and the myriad complexities involved in keeping us safe from this new vector of threat.
