Farmers’ Market Cooking Class for Seniors

Join local Chef Donna Barrow as she demos her favorite recipes using seasonal produce from the Torrance Farmers’ Market. Learn about the City’s new program, Services for Seniors, which aims to bring farmers’ market produce to Torrance seniors. At the end of class, you’ll sample the dishes prepared in the demo and answer questions about cooking and eating seasonally!
Participants will get: samples of the recipes prepared in class, recipe cards from the demo, knowledge about cooking with fresh produce and information about the Services for Seniors program.
