Welcome to the 1st Sake Matsuri at Miyako Hybrid Hotel in Torrance! Join us for a fun-filled day celebrating all things sake. Sample a variety of premium sake brands, enjoy delicious samples of Japanese cuisine, and experience traditional sake ceremonies and entertainment. Immerse yourself in the rich culture of Japan right here in Torrance. Tickets are $75 and limited (Early Bird Tickets for $60 available now through Saturday, 8/31) so don’t miss out on this unique opportunity to expand your palate and learn more about the art of sake. Grab your friends and come indulge in a day of sake appreciation!

What to expect:

Sake sampling – There will be more than 25 premium sakes, including many award-winning brands and styles from all over Japan, as well as Japanese beers and shochu (spirits). The different types of sake include Junmai sake, junmai daiginjyo sake, ginjo sake, sparkling sake, nigori (unfiltered) sake, and umeshu (plum wine).

Food sampling – Various Japanese foods to sample, such as California roll sushi, chicken karaage, shumai, and many more.

Entertainment – You will have an opportunity to enjoy the “kagami biraki” opening ceremony, wadaiko (drum), and koto performance.
