Sandra Adams RDML USN (Ret) Generations of Progress Women in the US Armed Forces
Women have served with the US Armed Forces since the time of the American Revolution. Officially sanctioned at the dawn of the 20th Century, opportunities for women have steadily expanded until today when virtually every professional field is open to those who qualify. We are fortunate to have one such woman, Rear Admiral Sandra Adams, who will describe for us the steady progress and impressive contributions women have made in the US Armed Forces. The opportunities are many and serve as an inspiration and motivation for ambitious young women from all walks of our society. Join us to hear this stimulating narrative.
