Some of the most illustrious great American XPlanes and the test pilots who flew them were dedicated to the discovery and exploration of the flight regime at and above the speed of sound.

Famous aviation artist and historian, Mike Machat, will share many of the fascinating details of the challenges and scientific discoveries in this once mysterious realm of aviation. He will also share with us images of these exotic aircraft along with descriptions of their missions, the hazards they faced, and of course, their technological triumphs.

Mike Machat’s book, Painting Aviation’s Legends, will be available for purchase.
