Western Museum of Flight – Air-to-Mud Missions in Vietnam

Marine Corps Veteran A-4 pilot, Captain Doug Kirschke, shares his experiences in Vietnam flying close air support missions in support of Marine Corps ground operations in Vietnam after which he joined a squadron deployed on an aircraft carrier in the Mediterranean. He will provide the brief history of the origin and development of this remarkable aircraft. You’re invited to hear this unique and fascinating story!
