The South Bay Lapidary & Mineral Society hosts the annual Gem & Mineral Show, Nature’s Treasures, on Saturday, March 30 and Sunday, March 31 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Ken Miller Recreation Center.
The Fluorescent Mineral Society’s exhibit is one of the most comprehensive collections of rocks and minerals from all over the world and will display beautiful colors under ultraviolet lights.
There also will be various demonstrations and workshops during the day to learn about topics including bead working, sphere making, gem carving, and glass bead making.
Admission is FREE!
