Salvador Dali Surrealism Dinner at VEFA Gallery

On May 14, from 6-9:30 pm VEFA Gallery opens its doors to a world where culinary mastery meets artistic legend.
The Dalí Dinner is no ordinary meal — it’s a full-sensory, five-course gastronomic experience drawn from Salvador Dalí’s 1974 cookbook, Les Dîners de Gala. This is a rare moment where art history, performance, and haute cuisine collide in spectacular form.
But only until April 25, you can secure your seat at early bird pricing of $425. After that, admission rises to $450.
This extraordinary evening is brought to life by:
Carolyn Tillie – Acclaimed culinary historian and author, known for weaving edible art into historical narratives. Her expertise brings Dalí’s extravagant vision to the table — literally — and she will guide guests course-by-course through the strange and sublime inspirations behind each dish.
Meg Walker – Executive Chef and owner of Made by Meg, one of Southern California’s most sought-after caterers. A Food Network veteran with over 15 years of acclaim, Meg’s team crafts each dish with elegance, precision, and dramatic flair worthy of Dalí himself.
Guests will enjoy:
• A curated five-course dinner based on Dalí’s artwork and recipes
• A welcome Casanova cocktail and Spanish wines
• A live Spanish guitarist performance
• A captivating lecture on Dalí, surrealism, and gastronomy
• Velvet gift bags with exclusive take-home items
This is more than a dinner. It’s a time capsule. An art installation. A fleeting masterpiece.
And only 40 seats exist.
