Top 10 Breweries in Torrance

Absolution Brewing Company

2878 Columbia St.
Old World recipes meet New World ingredients for remarkable artisan beers that capture today’s taste, usually with an “inspired” name. Red Cardinal Sin is not to be missed!

They’re taking part in WE LOVE LA’s international effort to provide relief for those affected by the area’s fires and will be releasing their WE LOVE LA Lager soon.

Buzzrock Brewing Co.

21770 Del Amo Cir E (located in The Brews Hall)
A middle school science project in the ‘70s created Buzzrock’s foundation and catapulted it to one of Torrance’s most thoughtful and quirky brewhouses. Any style, any vessel, Buzzrock is definitely buzzworthy.

They have several signature beers worth trying, all brewed to reflect the passion and excitement of a good game day. Space Brain, a Hazy IPA beer, is one of their most popular and Colin’s Cowherd’s The Herd Pilzner is really good too.

Plus, it’s right around the corner from Del Amo Fashion Center, so you can head for a pint after indulging in a shopping spree, grabbing a bite or having some fun with their numerous entertainment spots.

Hermosa Brewing Company

1855 Del Amo Blvd.

This Torrance brewery gives laidback Southern California vibes, so head here and relax with good beer and really good food. This spot also has crave-worthy Carnitas Fries and Carnitas Tacos, and regularly brings in food trucks for more variety.

HopSaint Brewing Company

5160 W 190th St.
Hops reign over halos in this Belgian-style brewery. Their mission is simple – offer savory flavor through quality craftsmanship and it shows. Their menu is just as impressive as their brews with AH-mazing Bacon or Chorizo Mac ‘n Cheese or Roasted Chicken & Shrimp Jambalaya.

If you’re feeling hoppy, we highly recommend the DoubleDitch DDH DIPA or try Kolsch Enough for a light and crisp pilsner. They’re also serving a WE LOVE LA Blonde to benefit the wildfire disaster relief in Los Angeles.

Monkish Brewing Co.

20311 S Western Ave.
Take a vow of superior brews at Monkish with uniquely packaged beers ranging from Alter Boy to Zombie-ish. Their Seme Della Vita brew with pistachios and vanilla beans is a can’t-miss too.

Project Barley Square Brewery & Pub

1109 Van Ness Ave.

This fun and friendly spot serves cask ale in proper pints as one should, and awesome pub fare. They also have regular events too like a trivia night and karaoke night, plus live music on the weekends.

Red Car Brewery & Restaurant

1266 Sartori Ave.
The famous California Red Car line is the inspiration for this brewery in the heart of Old Torrance. Consider their brewmaster as your conductor for some of the best brews in Torrance. They also have an eclectic variety of appetizers, entrées and desserts, and their pizzas are especially popular.

Scholb Premium Ales

2964 Columbia St.
Crowd-pleasing craft beers rule the roost at Scholb, a kid- and dog-friendly establishment. They’re just the styles you need to settle in to enjoy a sunny day and a good conversation.

They almost always have something fun going on, including a cornhole league and parties for nearly every holiday, like Halloween and Valentine’s Day. They even have a Sunday Family Funday with Korean BBQ, a bounce house and a game room.

Smog City Brewing Company

1901 Del Amo Blvd.
If their 16 exclusive craft beers in a warm and inviting space didn’t rock your world, then their 1% donations to environmental non-profits will cause you to raise a glass.

They will soon be releasing a bourbon barrel-aged imperial stout, Infinite Wishes, which you can pre-order. They also offer subscription boxes so you don’t miss out on any of the good stuff coming out.

Smog City West

22755 Hawthorne Blvd.
A splash of South Beach with 16 exclusive brews in a cozy environment takes you to a wonderful place at this brewery. Like its sister locale, you can pre-order their new stout, Infinite Wishes, and order their subscription boxes to try new brews.
