Western Museum of Flight – Celebrity Lecture Series: F-20 Tigershark

Western Museum of Flight – Celebrity Lecture Series
On Saturday, September 20th, the Western Museum of Flight is hosting a Celebrity Lecture Series – The F-20 Tigershark – Northrop’s $1.2 Billion Gamble
The Best Little Fighter that Never Sold: Developed during the 1970’s and 1980’s without government funding, the Tigershark was supposed to be America’s newest export fighter for its allied nations. Instead, after a series of decisions, the airplane found itself in direct competition for foreign military sales with the US Air Force’s front-line F-16 fighter. Join the Western Museum of Flight to hear the story of the superb F-20, called the right plane at the wrong time.
