Annual Armed Forces Day Parade & Celebration

Mark Your Calendars for May 15 – 17, 2026! 

We are excited to announce the 64rd Annual City of Torrance Armed Forces Parade and Celebration will be held from Friday, May 15 to Sunday, May 17! This year’s honored service branch will be the United States Marine Corps. This year’s Armed Forces Day weekend will also reflect the significance of the nation’s Semiquincentennial, offering residents and visitors meaningful opportunities to celebrate service, freedom, and 250 years of American history.

This year, the Military Equipment and Vehicle Displays will be located at the City Yard, 20500 Madrona Avenue. The City will introduce a Park-and-Ride shuttle service from the Torrance Regional Transit Center to both the Armed Forces Day Parade and Military Exhibit, providing improved access and convenience for attendees.

The Armed Forces Day 5K for Freedom Run/Walk sponsored by the Torrance Area Chamber of Commerce will also return and is scheduled to take place on Saturday, May 16, at a new location, Maple Avenue and Civic Center Drive.
