The Lauridsen Ballet center in the heart of Old Torrance has been serving the public for decades. Their mission is to be the nations leading pre-professional ballet company, providing the finest in training to our youth as well as performances that inspire and enrich the community. They have proven their success in consistently placing dancers in professional contracts in over 50 national and international professional companies. They encourage and train self-discipline, teamwork, perseverance, respect, self-confidence and dedication to excellence. They perform annually the Nutcracker, a Storybook Ballet and a Benefactors concert and have won two Medals of Excellence by two US Presidents.
To be able to do all of this for our students and community it takes way more than anyone could imagine, from costuming to set designs to helping those that could not otherwise afford to attend. To continue to be a pivotal partner in our community they need your help. If you are able to assist by purchasing a ticket or two to their annual fundraiser, it would be most appreciated.
