Destination: Art – Portraits of Healthcare Heroes Opening Reception
Destination: Art welcomes the artwork of Dr. Carol Francis to be on display during the Associates’ Exhibition from May 3 – June 15, in their lounge.
Dr. Carol Francis has joined Destination: Art as one of their Associates.
Carol creates Portraits of Healthcare Heroes to honor them. She gives them their portrait printed in a special way, along with a copy of her book Recovery After Trauma Work for Healthcare Workers.
There will be a special Opening Reception Friday, May 7th, from 5:00 PM – 8:00 PM, to which healthcare workers have been invited. This is a great opportunity to welcome many who may not have discovered Destination: Art before!
Guests will be welcomed through the front door (a few at a time and with masks) and guided through the Gallery and Studios, to the lounge to meet Dr. Francis and see the collage of portraits that will be arranged on the wall.
This will be Destination: Art’s first “open to the public” event since the beginning of the pandemic over a year ago, and will coincide with the Associates’ Exhibition, curated by Robin Johns, and featuring the artwork of 35 Associate Members.
