Smogtoberfest

This Saturday at noon, Smog City is kickin’ off the celebration for a day filled with great beer, good food, lively music, and fun & games! Read on to see the whole party schedule . . .

🥨 FOOD TRUCKS 🍖
Fun Fact: The Smogtoberfest lager pairs perfectly with the best of Oktoberfest’s tasty and iconic foods. Sample the fare of the 4 different vendors we have lined up for Saturday.

🥨 Shappy Pretzel – It wouldn’t be Smogtoberfest without fresh baked soft pretzels! Shappy himself will be hosting his pretzel pop-up of savory and sweet soft pretzels from 2:00 PM – 6:00 PM.

🌭 The Berlin Truck – The cream of the crop when it comes to LA-based German sausages. This truck also offers artisan grilled cheeses and specialty-loaded fries.

🍖 AGL’s Craft Meats – You can’t go wrong with a heaping plate of AGL’s supreme Texas-style BBQ. Pulled pork, short ribs, brisket, coleslaw, mac & cheese, and more!

🍲 Pasta Selvatica – Complete the Oktoberfest experience with a heaping plate of fresh made spätzle!

AXE THROWING
These axes aren’t for chopping! Show off your axe magic, or learn how to throw from one of the “axe”perts. Axe throwing with Hard Axes from 1:00 PM – 5:00 PM, each throwing sessions lasts 20 minutes apiece to get as many bullseyes as you can!
A signed release waiver and closed toe shoes will be required to throw.

🎸MUSIC🎶
Loosen up those hips for some traditional Oktoberfest music from bandleader Rob Tschombor and Carrera. The band will be jamming out from 2:00 PM – 5:30 PM.

GET COMPETITIVE
Think you have the muscles to take down the competition in the annual stein-holding contest? Keep that arm nice and straight and have a chance at winning some Smog City swag. As always, costumes are highly encouraged at Smogtoberfest. Come dressed up and you’ll have a chance to win some prizes and merch giveaways!
