A Transatlantic Dialogue Between Artists in London and Los Angeles
Special Relationships explores the creative intersections and divergent perspectives of 20 artists from two global art capitals. Spanning painting, sculpture, and installation, the exhibition brings together emerging and established voices to examine shared artistic concerns shaped by differing cultural contexts. This transatlantic dialogue highlights the vibrancy and interconnectedness of the London and Los Angeles art scenes.

DARK ROOM: Catya Plate: An Animated Ecological Short Film Trilogy
Ten Years of Stop-Motion Art and Environmental Storytelling
Artist and filmmaker Catya Plate presents her acclaimed trilogy of stop-motion animated short films: Hanging by a Thread(2013), Meeting MacGuffin (2017), and Las Nogas (2023). Created over a decade, these intricately handcrafted works feature imaginative puppets, costumes, and sets. Combining science fiction, humor, and environmental urgency, Plate’s trilogy delivers poignant, whimsical narratives that advocate for ecological awareness and species survival.
