Torrance Summer Nights – Get Lit – Words Ignite

Get Lit – Words Ignite is a Los Angeles-based nonprofit that uses Spoken Word poetry programs and award-winning curriculum to inspire literacy, wellness, and creativity. Join us at the Torrance Cultural Arts Center as Get Lit guides us through a poetry workshop with live performances. Afterwards attendees will put words to pavement with a chalk walk filled with original poems that we create that day. It’s part workshop, part poetry slam, and part poem writing all in one family-friendly event.
