Tryst & Nomad Art Fair

Art from around the world is coming to Torrance – the fourth installment of TRYST, the world’s largest international alternative art fair for artist-run galleries, and the fifth edition of NOMAD, a non-commercial pop-up exhibition celebrating Southern California artists.

The free event will include performances and discussions about partnerships and programs for artists. Dozens of participants from California will join those from across the U.S. and international locations, including Vienna; São Paulo; Bogota, Columbia; Berlin and Athens, Greece. Exhibitors will present an eclectic mix of media – including painting, sculpture, photography, video art, installation, and more.

TRYST is dedicated to introducing international artists to new Los Angeles audiences and increasing interactions between artist-run spaces and the general public. TRYST continues to grow as a vital resource for emerging and experimental art, offering both artists and audiences an alternative to commercial art fairs.

Running concurrently in the same space, NOMAD functions as a vibrant artistic gathering, offering more than 150 California artists the opportunity present recent works, build professional relationships, and engage directly with the public.
