Rich in that relaxed Southern Californian vibe, Torrance is an upscale city conveniently located 10 miles south of LAX and 17 miles north of Long Beach Airport. There are 15 hotels to choose from, ranging from luxurious suites to more budget-friendly rooms, plus exceptional and unique venues that can add some excitement to your meeting. Here are the best places to consider for meetings and events in Torrance.

HOTELS

If size is a concern, you might consider two of our larger hotels. Both are a short walk to the Del Amo Fashion Center, one of the largest malls in America, with three levels of shopping and entertainment.

  • Torrance Marriott Redondo Beach. The Marriott’s rooms range from their Grand Ballroom at 10,080 sq. ft. and 780 guests to The Boardwalk, an outdoor space that measures 2,500 sq. ft. and can hold 50 guests.

If an elegant Japanese-inspired hotel would better meet your desire for comfort and aesthetic, then you should definitely check out the Miyako with its beautiful blend of East-meets-West cultures and indoor and outdoor spaces. The Miyako Hybrid Hotel offers the Nara and Kyoto Room at 2,016 sq. ft. for 120 guests and the Asuka Room has 394 sq. ft. for 20 guests.

If your team would prefer to spread out with multiple bedrooms and their own private kitchens, then an extended-stay hotel might be a better option. Sonesta ES Suites Torrance Redondo Beach has a 500-sq.-ft. space that can accommodate 20 guests for your event.

If you’re looking for a boutique hotel with a more modern, cool coastal vibe and upscale, resort-style amenities, be sure to check out the Bluestem Hotel. There’s a colorful courtyard for intimate gatherings where you can bask in the sun by day or relax by the fire pit at night.

Perfect for business meetings and events, the Courtyard is well-versed in all your needs, including high-speed internet and audiovisual (AV) equipment. The Courtyard Los Angeles Torrance/Palos Verdes offers three event rooms with a total of 1,474 sq. ft. that would accommodate 50 guests.
