Travel Advisory

Updated: December 7, 2020

The Regional Stay Home Order, announced by Gov. Newsom on December 3, 2020, went into effect late Dec. 6 in Los Angeles County. It prohibits private gatherings of any size, closes sector operations except for critical infrastructure and retail, and requires 100% masking and physical distancing in all others. The order will remain in effect for at least 3 weeks. A curfew is also in place from 10 p.m. – 5 a.m. daily and out-of-state travelers are asked to quarantine for 14 days after arrival.

There are several ways you can still continue to support Torrance hotels and local businesses reliant on tourism. We encourage shopping local this holiday season and purchasing gifts online or lodging gift cards to use in the near future.

For those considering a change in travel plans, we encourage you to postpone or reschedule trips, rather than cancel. Tourism supports the livelihoods of Torrance residents and small businesses, and we look forward to hosting visitors when travel is safe and viable.
