Torrance Summer Nights Concert Series – June 1 – August 31

Live concerts, movies and even live theater are all yours to enjoy in this series located right here in Torrance. It’s completely free too, so just pack a picnic, bring your blankets and chairs and settle in for a great night.

SoFi Stadium Summer Concerts – June 14 – August 25

The home of the NFL’s Los Angeles Chargers and Los Angeles Rams is a large, newer stadium and a prime spot for huge summer concerts. For most events, you can pay for parking at the stadium or hop on Torrance Transit for a $2 bus ticket each way ($4 round trip). You can take the bus from Del Amo Fashion Center and get some shopping done too at Torrance’s huge three-story mall. Here’s SoFi’s summer line up:

Bourbon, BBQ & Blues at the Depot – August 4

Good times in the bright sunshine are a Southern California staple and The Depot is representing Torrance well with this celebration of summer music and food. On August 4th from 11 am – 3 pm, live in their lot, come and enjoy all-you-can-eat BBQ, American Bourbon and live blues music. Beyond the Music

Torrance Cultural Arts Foundation (TOCA)

From concerts to dance performances and from comedy shows to theater, TOCA pretty much does it all right here in Torrance.

  • June 14 – 15 – Don Quixote performed by the San Pedro City Ballet
  • June 22 – TOCA Palooza – a day-long arts festival on three stages with performances, local art vendors and food & beverage vendors

Torrance Beach

An uncrowded 1.5-mile strip of pristine shoreline is ours to claim at Torrance Beach. There’s usually plenty of parking, too, so you can lounge on the shore or play in the waves. Lots of shops and restaurants are nearby, as well as places to rent surfboards, bikes and more. Torrance Beach is also one end of the 22-mile coastal bike path, The Strand, that goes all the way up to Malibu.
