Keep the haunted hops going with a taste of Absolution Brewing Co.’s La Mort Noir Black IPA. It’s back on tap with Craft Beer & Brewing Magazine giving it a 98/100.

Nightmare on Elm Street Halloween Movie Night at Absolution Brewing Company – Sat., Oct. 12 at 7pm

Get into the spooky spirit with a showing of Nightmare on Elm Street in Absolution Brewing Company’s taproom.

Torrance Beer Run – Fri., Oct. 11 – Sun., Oct. 20

Hop on the Torrance Craft Brew Trail for this self-paced tour that will take you through all 10 Torrance craft breweries. Collect a stamp in your passport at each brewery to claim a custom Torrance Beer Run 16 oz can-style glass.

You can pick up your passport at any of the 10 stops and collect your reward at any of them as well. It’s really a no-run, all-fun, start-and-stop-where-you-like kind of event. You can also turn in your completed passport at the CA Welcome Center on the main level of the Del Amo Fashion Center for your free glass.

Garlic Cooking Class at The Depot – Sat., Oct. 12

Known for its excellent cooking classes, this class at The Depot is designed to keep vampires away with dishes that make delicious use of garlic. The class begins at noon and is only $50 a person.

Halloween Ball at The Depot – Sun., Oct 27

A long-standing Torrance tradition, The Depot is hosting its 28th annual Halloween Ball. There’ll be a full martini, wine and beer bar, as well as hors d’oeuvres and a buffet dinner. Come ready to bid on the silent auction and dance the night away to a live band. It’s best to call ahead to reserve your ticket.

Dave & Boo-sters Halloween deals at Dave & Buster’s – Thurs., Oct. 31

On Halloween evening from 4 pm – 7 pm, head over to Dave & Buster’s for fun everyone can enjoy. Your $10 ticket includes a $15 Power Card with unlimited video game play and entrance into their costume contest to win free games for one whole year. There will also be a candy scavenger hunt, Halloween crafts and more. The first 25 guests to purchase tickets will also get a free swag bag.

Halloween Spooktacular Family Movie Night at Wilson Park

Get ready for a spine-tingling night of Halloween fun at Wilson Park with a SPOOKTACULAR Halloween Movie in the Park family night!  Wear your spookiest, most creative costumes, and bring your blankets and chairs for a special viewing of “Inside Out 2” (rated PG) under the stars!

Several stores in this huge 3-story mall have fun Halloween treats and displays. You can see what the seasonal Halloween Club store has on its shelves and explore the Halloween offerings at stores like the Game Chest and Sanrio with their cute Halloween Hello Kitty stuffies. The food court and sweet shops will be bursting with fall flavors as well.
