Torrance is the Right Play for Games & More at Dignity Health Sports Park
Los Angeles is known for being a sports hub, with well-known major league teams for basketball, baseball, football, hockey and soccer. As the Sports Hub of Southern California, Torrance is right in the middle of it all.
When it comes to soccer, LA is home to one major league soccer team: the Los Angeles Galaxy. In fact, the team is only one of two professional soccer teams in California and its home stadium is the Dignity Health Sports Park in Carson. Torrance is just 15 minutes away, making it a fantastic place to stay for soccer, rugby, boxing matches, concerts and other amazing events.
Dignity Health Sports Park will also be one of the host stadiums for the 2026 FIFA World Cup, and will host some of the events during the 2028 Summer Olympics. Torrance Transit goes to the park as well, which can help you avoid premium parking prices.

MLS LA GALAXY HOME GAMES
The Los Angeles Galaxy is one of the original MLS teams and the first and only club to win five MLS Cups (2002, 2005, 2011, 2012 and 2014). Their 2025 season began on February 22nd and will end on October 18th, so be sure to check the link above for season tickets and tickets to individual games. HSBC RUGBY SVNS LA SERIES
May 3-4, 2025
Heading back to California, Team USA will face off against the 15 best rugby sevens nations in this series. It’s a rare chance to see so many teams in one place and it all happens over two days with over 40 games played. There’ll be an International Fan Festival there, too, with live music, food and entertainment from all over the world.

2028 SUMMER OLYMPICS
As you can imagine, the Los Angeles 2028 Summer Olympics will be happening all over the LA area. Dignity Health Sports Park will be hosting track cycling at the velodrome, field hockey in adjacent fields, Rugby SVNS in the stadium and tennis. Knowing how popular these Olympic games will be, it’s best to plan ahead and secure your reservations as soon as possible.

This festival draws top international acts and features an impressive visual arts pavilion – all held at Dignity Health Sports Park. It celebrates music and art throughout the Southern California Region and benefits the Dymally Institute and nearby California State University, Dominguez Hills students.
SMTOWN LIVE
May 11, 2025
Now in its 30th year, this show will be happening live at Dignity Health Sports Park for one day only. This is the tour’s only stop in the United States and will include SUPER JUNIOR, SUHO, CHANYEOL, NCT DREAM, WayV, RIIZE, NCT WISH and more.
SUMMER CONCERT SERIES
A large, open-air stadium, Dignity Health Sports Park hosts a Summer Concert Series every year as well as several other events. They’ve yet to reveal their line-up for the 2025 Summer Concert Series, but we’ll be sure to tell you about it when they do.
